AviMate has always provided you with great databases to maintain clutch and nursery information, and we are enhancing them even further to include chick feeding and weight information in AviMate 3.

Until now, however, there was a fundamental limitation:  you had a tough time taking your PC with AviMate on it out to your bird breeding area.  Instead, you manually recorded breeding information in a paper journal and then later inputted it into AviMate.  Those days can now be over with our new optional ClutchAid and NurseryAid plug-ins!

With these plug-ins, you use a palm-sized personal digital assistant (PDA)/computer to collect breeding information and seamlessly upload it into AviMate at your convenience.  Our first set of offerings will be for Palm-compatible PDA's.  Later we will provide similar plug-ins for Pocket PC's and similar platforms running under the Windows CE environment.

Many of you are already into using these palm-sized powerhouses.  If you are not, you owe it to yourself to check them out.  For example, the Palm m100 Handheld retails for $149 and has all the power you need to run ClutchAid, NurseryAid, and its built-in memo, date book, address book, and to-do list services plus a whole lot of other software downloadable off the Internet.  Here are some of those download places:  Handango, Palm Gear HQ, and PalmPilot Files.
