AviMate Newsletter #3 (3/3/01):

AviMate News Update (Club Special)

Dear Bird Breeding Enthusiast:

Since our last e-mail a week ago, early bird sales on our planned version 3 of  AviMate, the premier breeder software management/productivity tool, have risen  from 10% of the target to 16%.  We thank all of you who have responded to our
appeal!.  (New readers can see the previous 2 e-mails at http://www.avimate.com,)

We committed to implement all advertised features if our orders reached 50% of  target in 2 weeks; i.e., giving the breeder community a "fat" version of AviMate 3,  instead of a "skinny" one.  From the trend that we are seeing, the 50% target is in
jeopardy..  We could just give up and say this means we are destined to deliver only a skinny version.  Instead, we'll search a little while longer for a win-win working relationship between the bird breeding community and Boundaries Unlimited, the  AviMate publisher.

The key is, of course, getting the word out.  Those who have been using AviMate 2  for upto 3 years already know what a great product AviMate is and how it can  simplify many parts of their breeding business!  (See what experts like Rick Jordan
have been saying about AviMate for years at http://www.avimate.com/testimonials.htm.)   We need to have AviMate easily accessible to prospective new clients so that they  can evaluate it and assess how its great productivity features can work for them.  A  15-day trial version of AviMate 2 is available at http://www.avimate.com; however,  we have had several constructive complaints about problems downloading the 15-day  trial version of AviMate 2 from our website; hence, our new offer below.

We have a limited number of CD-ROM's with the 15-day trial version of AviMate  on it which we will sell for $0 to those who wish to evaluate AviMate.  Prospective  new customers can order the trial CD-ROM from http://www.avimate.com.  Pay only
$5.95 shipping and handling (USA only), and the trial software will be sent to you by  priority mail while supplies last.  (Remember you will be trying out AviMate 2, and  AviMate 3 - skinny or fat - will be better yet!)

For bird clubs and similar qualified organizations, we will send the trial CD-ROM,  entirely free of charge -- we'll eat all costs including, priority mail costs (USA only) --  one per club while supplies last.  And, we'll give the club a 20% discount on new
AviMate 3 orders (not upgrades) whenever 2 or more are ordered at the same time.   This means club members will pay $135.96 on each full AviMate 3, rather than $169.95  during our early bird special -- a savings of $33.99.  (We'll continue this discount offer  after the early bird special --  members later will pay $215.99, instead of $269.99 for  a full copy of AviMate 3 -- a savings of $54.00.)  We invite bird club officers to contact us for details.

Thank you for your time.  Let's continue searching together for a win-win solution.

Sincerely,
Alex Davidoff
President, Boundaries Unlimited, Inc.

P.S. Due to lack of interest, we are withdrawing the proposed AviBookkeeper optional  plug-in.  We will refund those very few people who ordered this product.

P.P.S. Please forward this message to your friends and share it in your favorite news groups!   Let's have the entire bird breeder community "vote" on the fate of AviMate 3 (skinny or fat)!   We'll keep you posted.
