AviMate Newsletter #5 (3/18/01):

A Real Newsletter and Palm Passion

Dear Bird Breeding Enthusiast:

Since our last newsletter, our AviMate 3 early bird sales have risen from 16% of target to over 27%.  We appreciate your support very much.  (New readers can see previous e-mails at our website http://www.avimate.com,)

We committed to implement all advertised features if our orders reached 50% of target in 2 weeks; i.e., giving the breeder community a "fat" version of AviMate 3, instead of a "skinny" one.  That objective was not achieved, but we had website difficulties in processing orders during part of that time so we are keeping our commitment open a little while longer. As you will see, we'll keep working to build a win-win relationship between the bird breeding community and Boundaries Unlimited, the AviMate publisher, as long we can.

Together, we need to keep doing what we have been doing, only more!  We originally sent these e-mails only to registered users, but by request others have been added.  We feel it is time to formalize this process.  So after this e-mail, we will be transferring your addresses into a ListBot mailing list and transforming these e-mails into AviMate Newsletters.  Each of you will receive a welcoming message from ListBot when we make the transfer.

Please encourage your friends to subscribe to our AviMate newsletter at http://www.avimate.com.  (Assure them that neither we nor ListBot will ever release their e-mail addresses to anyone!  See our detailed privacy statement at http://www.avimate.com/privacystatement.htm)  While there, hopefully they will download AviMate 2 and try it out free without obligation for 15 days.  We are confident that they will see how AviMate can simplify their recordkeeping and boost productivity.  Afterall, top breeders like Rick Jordan have been using AviMate for years!  (By the way, if this e-mail was forwarded to you by one of our great advocates, please consider subscribing as well!)

We have received a number of requests for information about NurseryAid and ClutchAid, our Palm-compatible plug-ins under development.  Checkout http://www.avimate.com/RemoteData.htm for some general information on them and then go to http://www.avimate.com/nurseryaid.htm where we'll give you a tour of NurseryAid.  Bring your hard hat as there's alot of construction going on and we wouldn't want you to get hurt!

We are really passionate about these handheld productivity devices.  Soon just about everybody will be carrying one and using it throughout the day! You'll come to love these puppies (I mean hatchlings!) just like you've come to love your cell phone.  You don't own one yet?  Sign up at http://www.franklincovey.com/promotion/solutionsformind/enter.html and win one of the 10 being given away there (US addresses only).

Thank you for your support.  Together, we are going to find a win-win solution to keeping the AviMate product line viable for the breeder
community.

Sincerely,
Alex Davidoff
President, Boundaries Unlimited, Inc.

p.s. Please forward this message to your friends and share it in your favorite news groups!  Let's give the entire bird breeder community an opportunity to "vote" on the fate of AviMate 3 (skinny or fat)!
