NEW TARGET RELEASE DATE; EARLY BABY
In keeping with our policy of "honestware" over "vaporware,"
we find it
necessary to move the target release date of AviMate 3 to June 15, 2001.
Our best attempts for an earlier release have been thwarted. There are
many reasons for this delay, not the least is that our chief programmer
Kevin is being distracted by family events. His wife is pregnant with
their fourth child. The original expected delivery date of mid-May is
being moved forward by several weeks for medical reasons. Our plan was to
deliver AviMate 3 first followed by Kevin's baby, but we just could not
make it happen! Our newsletters will keep you informed of all blessed
events -- babies and software releases!

36% TO TARGET
We are now at 36% of our sales target. We thank those who purchased
AviMate 3 early, but this low percentage says that many current AviMate 2
users have not yet upgraded. Don't delay, buy today and save! Do it
for
yourself, and do it for Kevin -- with a new addition soon to arrive, he
needs whatever income he can get from AviMate 3 sales!

AVICULTURAL EXPERT SPEAKS OUT
Here's what author Rick Jordan said about AviMate in a recent e-mail to us:
"You should know that I prepared my last Studbook report for the U.S. Fish
and Wildlife Service using Avimate. They really were impressed that the
private sector actually had a program with reports, etc. My new book on
Macaws is in the works. I have mentioned Avimate by name in the records
section and may be able to incorporate a sample report too....
"I know you have jumped into a specialized program field with Avimate.
The US breeders have never had to keep records in the past, that is why
many are so hesitant to do so. The tide is changing and with Avimate
remaining strong, it can become an industry standard."

BIRD SHOW DONATION UPDATE
In our last newsletter, we offered to donate a free promotional copy of
AviMate plus BirdSpeech 101 CD's to at least 20 qualified bird shows. So
far 6 shows and related events have qualified. They are:
